Many people want to work from home, but a lot of those positions often ask that you work in a quiet environment. Just with that one requirement your choices can get pretty limited if you’re a stay at home parent with kids or a college student living in a dorm.
But don’t worry there are still tons of opportunities for work from jobs that don’t require you to be on the phone. These non-phone work from home jobs are perfect for anyone that can’t really be in a noise free room at home.
Some of these non-phone work at home jobs can be attained by applying directly to the companies listed or if you prefer to work as a freelancer, which can be more lucrative, there are also resources I recommend for that route as well!

One of the best non-phone work at home jobs is being a freelance writer. There are always people that need content written for them. There are a few different website below that you can apply for to start earning money from freelance writing.
You can usually get paid per article or post or from the amount of words you write. Freelance writing is highly in demand at the moment which means more opportunities for you!

For a data entry role, you simple transfer data from one place to another. Data entry is one of the most popular non-phone work from home jobs which means they are usually pretty staffed and so openings are limited.
This also means that data entry isn’t a great paying job but can make for a decent side hustle. Here are some websites you can apply to if they’re hiring.
If you can type pretty fast, then transcription might be the perfect non-phone work at home job for you! You pretty much listen to audio files and type out what you hear! No need to talk to anyone, just type words on your keyboard!

Search Engine Evaluator
As a search engine evaluator you simply rate the results you get on search engines from searching various terms. It’s just as simple as that. Search engines pay for this service because it allows them to improve the user experience so that they get the most relevant results that they are looking for.

This is pretty self explanatory. You simply grade either standardized exams or tests or essays that students have written. Some programs do have their own requirements so I would recommend checking out each website’s qualifications.

Taking paid online surveys may not make you rich but it’s one of the easiest jobs to make some extra money, even if you’re super lazy, you can make decent money with this.

This is definitely one of the more in demand jobs as well because there’s so much content out there on the internet that there needs to be people making sure it’s error free!

As a social media manager you simply manage other people’s social media accounts and help them grow it. So you’re experienced in growing an audience and handling emails and etc. then you can be a freelance social media manager.

As you chat agent you simply chat with a customer online and answer any questions they may have. You’ve probably chat with a live agent before and you might not know it but most of them work directly from home.

These are just some of the popular non-phone work at home jobs, but in the end you will still be limited by how much you can earn. If you’re looking to replace your full time job, then I would recommend starting your own home business or looking at some of these other, more profitable work at home opportunities.
There are many different profitable work at home jobs out there. It won’t be easy but definitely doable. So consider starting your own home business. You can start it as a side hustle and then once you get going maybe you can even do it full time!
