Through the advancement of technology and invention of the internet, introverts don’t have to be worried about trying to “network” and socialize with other people to find a job and make a living if that makes them super uncomfortable.

There are so many opportunities out there on the internet and therefore you can make money with them right from your couch! In my opinion these are some of the best work-at-home jobs for introverts because they can be very profitable if you work hard at it.

Also, obviously anyone can do these, not just introverts because they can be a lucrative way to work and make money from home.

Best Jobs For Introverts Who Want To Work From Home

For these jobs, you can work from home but which ones you prefer to choose will depend on how introverted you are.

For example, some of them won’t require you to communicate with anyone as you can do everything yourself. And some of them require some form of communication with other people such as through emails.

So let’s get right to it! Here are some of the best work-at-home jobs for introverts!

Dropshipping

This work-at-home job has been getting quite popular recently. It’s like having your own E-Commerce business but you don’t have to directly talk to people or suppliers or anything, making it great for introverts!

In simplified terms, the way dropshipping works is that you first do detailed product research to see what’s hot on the market, then you put up listings of the product that you think is doing well on your online “store” using Shopify.

From there your product will be available for viewing to other people who can decide to buy it. Once someone decides to purchase your product you simply purchase what they want, at a lower price of course, and ship it over to their address and keep the difference as profit!

Now it may sound easy and confusing at the same time, but there are many people who have taken advantage of dropshipping and are making thousands of dollars a month doing it.

Freelance Writing

If you love to write, this will be a great work-at-home opportunity. Freelance writing is very much in demand and you don’t have to interact with people because it’s online! This makes freelance writing one of the best jobs for introverts!

There are so many websites and blogs looking for people to write content for them. If you’re unsure of what type of writing you could provide, don’t worry.

You don’t need to be an expert writer at all and there are over 200 different freelance writing niches you could write for!

Proofreading

If you’re not much of a writer but more of a reader, then there’s a job for you as well! For all those websites and blogs that need content creators to write for them, they also need proofreaders to edit the content and documents for them.

Even many companies look for proofreaders nowadays to look over their online content. You can find proofreading jobs on various different online sites or you can be a freelance proofreader as well!

Selling Ebooks

This is a unique work-at-home job. You can make money online by selling ebooks on the Kindle store. There are many people who are putting up ebooks for sale and making a good amount of passive income every month.

The categories for ebooks can range widely from educational to fictional stories and more. However, you don’t necessarily have to be a great writer to start making money. You can write ebooks on your own and have them proofread or you can outsource the writing of the ebook to ghostwriters.

I can’t go too much into detail as to how all that works because I haven’t done it before, but I know many people have and the opportunity is there. A course I’ve heard that’s good at showing how you can make money selling ebooks is Kindle Money Mastery.

Blogging

If you like a little bit of a mix of everything from writing, proofreading, editing, promoting and more then take a look into blogging! This is definitely one of the best work-at-home jobs for introverts because you don’t have to go and talk to people in person or anything.

If you have to contact someone for a guest post or anything, it can all be done through email.

There are some bloggers that earn a decent few hundred dollars a month like me, and then there are some superstar bloggers that earn thousands of dollars a month, unlike me.

For example, Scrivs, who runs multiple different blogs wrote a detailed income report where he earned $79,000 in ONE month from blogging! Talk about goals huh! If you’re interested, he has a great Free Blogging Bootcamp you can take.

To start your own blog you’ll need 2 things, a domain name and a website hosting service. I recommend using BlueHost for hosting, it’s reliable and it’s what this blog uses! Plus if you sign up here you can get a FREE domain name and 50% OFF discount to start! Which means you can start your own blog for only $3.95/month!

Transcribing Documents

This is definitely one many people probably haven’t heard of, transcription jobs. Pretty much you write and convert audio or video content into a text document.

There are many different document you can transcribe, such as legal documents, medical papers, or even podcast episodes! This is definitely one of the more under looked work-at-home jobs you can take advantage of.

Photographer

If you have a decent camera, which is pretty much any smartphone these days, then you can sell stock photos to make money online. You will have to go outside to take pictures, but you can still be introvert because you don’t really need to talk to anyone, unless you’re taking a picture of them maybe.

It might be difficult to turn this into a full time job and make income from it at the beginning, but not impossible.

There are many different stock photography websites that you can submit your work to. Some popular ones are Shutterstock and iStock.

If you’re a creative introvert, then this work-at-home job may appeal to you more. Being a graphic designer can be very broad as there are many different types of graphic designs you can do.

For example, you can provide logo designs or just general graphic designs to people through Fiverr or Upwork.

Or you can also create and sell custom design t-shirts, and other types of apparel, mugs, towels and various other objects using platforms like Redbubble, Teespring, and Merch by Amazon.

Online Chatting Jobs

Companies such as Best Buy and Apple have Chat positions for people who can chat with people online who need customer support. They usually have little pop ups on the bottom of websites where someone will ask if you need help.

Search Engine Evaluator

Being a search engine evaluator means that you search for certain terms and see how closely your search results relate to the search term you used.

Therefore, you can provide information like this to search engines so that they can improve using your feedback. Some websites to find work for being a search engine evaluator are Appen and Leapforce.

Online English Teacher

Now being an online English teacher may depend on your level of introvertedness, not sure if that’s a real word but you know what I mean. If you don’t like talking to people even through video calling, then this may not be right for you.

However, I will say that you can do this work-at-home job teaching children! Not sure if that changes your perception but with VIPKID you supplement foreign kids’ English skills by going over lessons through video calling.

You will need a Bachelors degree in any field and some experience teaching or mentoring to be accepted into VIPKID.
